last year without a very serious study.
This year, I have used the same way to prepare Level 2 and find that Level 2 is much much more difficult.
The chance for me to pass this year is really slim. |

民國98年三月CSIA這次這次的確比較好考！
原因有三：
1.96年3月開始實施可以分科考試，單科及格可以保留二年，如果本次太難，會有很多人需重新再來過循環一次，主辦單位宅心仁厚，題目也比較合理！
2.面對金融大海嘯，各方高手紛紛出籠考取CSIA，以求工作上的自保，考生之程度都超優，以致錄取人數大增！
3.本次大家分數都很高，而且第一季錄取人數就已經達陣，所以下次會比較難考！不過主辦單位還是有在控管，因為會計及財務分析始終保持在錄取人數75人上下，例如上次為78人，本次為81人，如果我沒猜錯的話，今年一整年會計及財務分析都會很難考，如同去年投資學一整年都很難考！雖然已經考過CSIA，不過感覺不像是考四科，好像是在考二科（會計及財務分析與投資學）！
不管如何！為了一口飯，總是要努力考試下去，畢竟考試雖然辛苦，流落街頭之失業族更辛苦！十年前曾經失業過3個月，就已經很辛苦，更何況現在失業為常態，長期失業者之辛酸！

我也都是自己準備的, 大部分考試內容對我來講都沒有學習障礙, 所以覺得補習很浪費時間, 如果補習完, 沒有花時間念書也是沒用, 官方提到必須要250小時的準備時間. 考上最重要的關鍵是毅力和讀書方法
但是對某些人來說, 補習可以迅速明瞭重點所在, 這也是準備考試的方法之一, 畢竟我聽過很多拿到charterholder的人, 都是在金證照補習的 |

我都是自修的,小弟一向考試都是自己唸（之前FRM也是自修考上）,現在在金融業上班,我不曉得名校定義是啥ㄝ？小弟是政大畢業的,應該也不是啥名校吧!
考試補習應該有一些效果,但是毅力才是王道！加油！

...and the results might be out either tomorrow or day after. I can feel my body temperature dropping a couple of points...my hands are pretty cold with sweat...I feel excited, but also a little paralyzed right now.

I want to start studying lightly (just perusing the pages and getting the hang of it)sometime in August, to tell you the truth. But that's because I don't know how much I'll be able to study after december because I'll be moving and stuff. So, I want to kind of go through the whole thing once by December...and then go for it seriously sometime next year (probably Jan onwards).
What about you ilvi?

Since we have no choice but to buy the cfai texts, I hope to spend this fall and end of the year getting the LOSs down. I didn't structure my studying for LI, and I think it slowed me down in wrapping my mind around the volumes of material. Early next year I'll switch to study notes and start on the problems.
Of course I might be wasting my time typing this post, as my schedule might look more like: retake LI in December. Try to pass LII in June 08.

i was reading the results posts for june 2005, when the pass rate was 36%. people were freaking passing with up to 4 sections in the <50 column!! That test must have been BRUTAL!!! i wonder how our 2007 test stands relative to that one? i thought it was definitely more difficult than decmeber 2006. i guess i am just babbling out of nervousness.. i want this thing so freaking BAD! Good luck to all of you and hope to celebrating with you all in the middle of this week!
